Founding Vice Principal

Mawlana Nazmun Nahar Hena

She received her early Qur’anic and primary religious education up to grade three from her parents. She later enrolled in the fourth grade at Bidhavila Government Primary School in Dhaka and studied up to ninth grade at North Muhammad Shahidullah School in Mirpur-12.

She subsequently enrolled at Jamia Millia Mirpur Women’s Madrasa, where exposure to a senior Muftiya inspired her strong inclination toward Islamic studies. She left general schooling and fully committed to madrasa education, consistently achieving first position in her classes with outstanding results.

Although her parents initially hoped she would pursue medicine, Allah destined her to become a healer of hearts through Islamic knowledge. In 1999, she completed Dawrah Hadith (equivalent to a Master’s degree) with record-breaking marks, securing first position. Notably, she was a student of the second Dawrah Hadith batch at Mirpur Madrasa.

She began her teaching career at Mirpur Madrasa in April 1999. After three years of distinguished service, she joined on 20 April 2002 the Tahrirun Nisa Islamic Arabic Women’s Madrasa—founded by her husband—which is now known as Ummahatul Mu’minin Women’s Madrasa. She continues to serve as Vice Principal and Assistant Director.

From its inception, she has efficiently managed the institution’s internal affairs, contributing significantly to its growth and reputation. She has taught the majority of classical texts from the beginner level up to Dawrah Hadith at both Mirpur Women’s Madrasa and Ummahatul Mu’minin Women’s Madrasa. Her students are now engaged in Islamic service across Bangladesh and around the world. May Allah place barakah in her efforts. Ameen.
